Final Edition alarm issue / can't start the car

Recommended Posts

Hi,I have an issue with my immobiliser as it seems. I locked the car while in it or something similar and the alarm went off. I was not able to silence it for 5minutes. It stopped after that.

But the car still can't be locked/unlocked/started. I can put key in ignition, everything works apart from car starting. I thought of entering security code from secondary key, but I can't figure out how. I don't think that works as instructed.

Any ideas? Car is being towed now to safe spot. Dealer is in another country.

Check for blown fuse!

You were right, there was 10A blown fuse. I think alarm one. Interesting.

Code brown moment on the way home: The service (not Lotus) didn't close the front compartment properly. I floored in on highway on the way home and at 190kmh service hatch started lifting at angle. It lifted for at least 45 degrees, thankfully it returned to position when I went off throttle. Thank god!
