  1. @Garrarni my GPS works all the time, as soon as I get near track it says the track name. You shouldn't have to do anything special when you arrive at the track. Did you check with laptop if you have your track added in the system?
  2. That seems like best plan. Does anyone have a picture how SL harness bar fits exactly, I can't find anything online that would be clear enough. Can you still have normal seatbelts there? @stevensr34 did you find a solution how to have normal seatbells + harnesses mounted? I've heard its not really possible with non-carbon seats. I have 390FE, so we probably have same seats.

  4. So I finally decided to mount harness bar and harnesses for Lotus, but I found out I'm one of unlucky ones. Harness bar mounting holes haven't been threaded or have been threaded on the wrong side. I remembered there was a thread where another member had this issue, apparently it happens every so often. Did anyone have this issue and solved it? There is really not much space to try an tap the tread, probably possible if you remove rear clam, but I'm bit hesitant to go in that direction. Are there any other types of harnesses that mount differently? I'm willing to spend some money and buy another one, or buy tool that will help me tap there.
  5. I guess I need to try and see, because for now I'm not even sure what is going to be problematic. Harness bar was bought from EliseShop in Netherlands.
  6. Did anyone figure out how to install both harnesses and belts on 390FE or cars with similar seats? SimplyLotus told me their solution doesn't work, it's only for carbon seated cars.
  7. Can someone confirm this. I thought that 390 has same drivetrain as 420 and 430. I'm an 390 owner.
  8. I own an FE Exige, I still think 20th Anniversary model were best specced ones. As far as prices go, who really knows. Porsche tends to upgrade their models a lot and they still keep the good price. Exige on the other part will probably remain to be the pinnacle of pure Lotuses, along with Elises. I think the price should hold decently 3-5 years down the line, probably appreciate as it gets older.
  9. I'm 189cm tall. I fit in an Exige, even with helmet. HOWEVER! I did raise steering column (via that spacers hack) and it would probably be even better if I fitted steering wheel spacer. I also installed lowered seat rails from forum member (still adjustable) Without these few addition the fit was problematic, helmet wouldn't fit and seating position was worse. Also thing to note is, that it really matters how your proportions are - leg height and torso height. You need to be balanced, but I think 185cm should be fine.
  10. You were right, there was 10A blown fuse. I think alarm one. Interesting. Code brown moment on the way home: The service (not Lotus) didn't close the front compartment properly. I floored in on highway on the way home and at 190kmh service hatch started lifting at angle. It lifted for at least 45 degrees, thankfully it returned to position when I went off throttle. Thank god!
  11. All hardtops are same dimensions for elise/exige. Measured mine from 390, approx 76cm x 114cm. I have it stored in same room as my pc
  12. Hi,I have an issue with my immobiliser as it seems. I locked the car while in it or something similar and the alarm went off. I was not able to silence it for 5minutes. It stopped after that. But the car still can't be locked/unlocked/started. I can put key in ignition, everything works apart from car starting. I thought of entering security code from secondary key, but I can't figure out how. I don't think that works as instructed. Any ideas? Car is being towed now to safe spot. Dealer is in another country.
  13. @HXT there has already been debate around this plug. We think Lotus used many different remaining parts to finish Final editions, thus every one is a bit different. Luckily for you, there is very simple way to check you car. Remove lower wheel shroud (4 screws) and look under dash. On my car and most of them there is loose wire with connector clearly labeled Exhaust Valve or something like that shortened. It's on the left side on my car, but my car is LHD and might differ. While you car is started, use bit of wire or something conductable to create a short contact between only two pins in there. The car dash should show text EX.OPEN or EX.SHUT bottom center with blue coloring. If it does that, you are in luck and you should order button part (60€) and install it there same way. I think you have around 50% chance it works, I'm one of lucky ones on my 390.
  14. @Jedifar do contact them and ask for export prices. I believe those pricese are with French road tax, which is quite big. However I don't think you can find 430 Cup for less than 120k€ (VAT excluded).
  15. I want to check my FE for harness holes, where are they located exactly? Any photos?
  16. I cannot say exactly for 350 as I own 390. I've noticed significantly highier idle revs aswell, rev limit is same as sport mode for me.
  17. First FE front splitter damaged? 2 bumps on right side, one might be mostly PPF, other is deeper. Made an error on track, after hitting grass three turns before I pushed too much on fast corner, overcorrected a bit and went on grass again. Front splitter hit some small stones probably, could have been worse. It's a track toy, I want to push it and expect these stuff to happen so no issue here. However as this is only carbon part on my car I was thinking of replacing it with non-carbon splitter for tracking. Any ideas where to get them from?
  18. Just update on this issue: I went on track this saturday and issue fixed itself. I guess the car just had abstinence crisis from track. Now I don't trust the system anymore, I hope Aim updates dash, so camera will be an option soon.
  19. After a sprited drive a week ago I almost reversed into parking garage wall because the parking sensor didn't engage. I distinctly remember it working during the drive when I was making 3-point turn. Usually there is a beep when you put it reverse, that is gone. Took car few times out since, still not working. Any ideas? Car is 390 FE. Official service is 250km away, if possible I would love to fix it before I take car there next year.
  20. I guess that would apply to 390 FE aswell right? I have FE forged wheels and I plan to swap to bigger tire size (410,430) for track. Fitting 285 rear and 215 front.
  21. There was a photographer on track last weekend which asked me if he can so quick photoshot with my car, here are the results. Quite amazing, just a tad too much bloom for me It was just after I was done with sessions, so excuse some rubber buildup
  22. Somebody needs to finance this. It's Lotus which should support their products for decent time after shipping them. Shouldn't forget about their customers. What message is Lotus sending to future Lotus owners if they never update the software... AiM shouldn't be blamed for this, dash is Lotus product, no matter which company actually coded it and provides it.
  23. I'm glad you are getting it sorted and there is also some interesting news for FE dash owners. Thanks for the update, I'm looking forward to FE dash upgrade if possible, I really want rear camera and few updates to shift lights would be welcome.
