I was coming back from Dove House cars in Rushden.. I always get my mot's through them, as I know them very well from my Porsche owning days.

OK. Has the Dove House proprietor Mark Beeston still got his ex Steve Soper McLaren F1 GTR? Last time I saw it, it was back in its Le Mans livery after many years in papaya orange. It was quite a sight and sound when Dove House used to do those Sunday runs. He originally kept it in a Northampton lock-up with an old Golf or something parked in front of the garage door. When the value went over 7 figures, his insurance company got nervous and told him to find somewhere more secure, so he kept it in a roped off section at Dove House for a while, but then moved it out.

Back on topic. I saw a dark Emira on the M1 Northbound in Hertfordshire today.

I actually saw my first Emira late last year on the way back from them. On the opposite carriageway. Saw my first close up at Silverstone a couple of weeks ago and have to say that I was very impressed. A few of the angles I was not sure about in photos etc, looked good in the flesh.

Not for me though and certainly not at the new price 😫👎
