Advice on jacking esprit for wheel dollies

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Tonight I will have a look at jacking up my Esprit for the first time in five years.

The engine and transmission are out so it is light.

Maybe the wheels will hold some air.

Is there a guide anywhere on here, or a video anyone is aware of, that will give some instruction on best practice for jacking these?

If possible, I could use a trolley jack and lift the front and then the back? This might be easier if it is a thing.

Any advice would be greatly received!

Personally, I jack under the rear chassis hoop and install axle stands quite well forward on the chassis tubes.  Then I jack each side at the front and put axle stands on the chassis adjacent to the lower wishbone pivot points.

There is a guide on LEW.
