Service interval

Back to the car after a few months away and learning infotainment system again.

Found the widget that tells me when to service the car and it says 129 days and 8560 miles to go. The car still only has only done 550 miles, was delivered 28 oct 2022, the PDI says 12 oct 2022, one year is 18 sept 2023, can one assume this is one year from the build date? Should this have been reset at the pdi?

 

Oh and does it need a software update?

Well that’s what I expected, anyone else have delivery date and service date not one year apart?

Yes with an RRS. Was PDId in March 2021. Was sold new to me in July 2021 with 10 miles on the clock. I am the first owner. So the discrepancy is 4 months.
