Headlight problem

Hi all,

A steer please.

Just been out for a spin in my 88 (RHD) Stevens. Attempted to flash someone to say thank you and noticed offside pop up headlight sort of wobbled and did not come up properly. Got home and turned headlights on - same problem. Can hear the motor (lights motor) running fine - but I have the wobbles.

Nearside light strut was replaced a year or two ago and all fine. Do I need same doing offside?

Any suggestions - would be fab.

Most likely issue is disintegrated lift 'pucks'. Do both side motors while its fresh in your mind.

 

Didn't see  any listing on SKSportscar's site, but these Delrin bushings were used in Corvettes, Pontiac Firebirds, and Lotus Esprit and M100 Elans. In the USA, they are available from Dorman and Rodney Dickman.
