Gearbox mount bush question

Hi all,

In the process of replacing the gearbox mount bushes I've discovered something I want to check is as it should be. It makes sense but don't know it it's correct or a bodge

The bottom bush has had a section cut away and the bracket is also chamfered at this point which is clearly done in order to avoid fouling the top bolt on the bracket that supports the brake callipers.

Can anyone confirm this is as it should be before I get the angle grinder out as the new bush does not have the cutaway.
