Lotus cars required for press event in Germany

We are getting close to the press drives of the new Lotus Emeya and we are wishing to show to the visiting global media our legacy in producing high tech GT cars in our past including the 2+2s and the four seaters as an introduction to the Emeya and that Colin Chapman was also exploring this type of vehicle.

The plan is that media arrive at Munich airport and are then transferred to the “Lotus Hub” which is at HofGut Edenholzhausen (https://maps.app.goo.gl/CnJXwn94KCp8QFEw7) where they will learn about our heritage before driving the wonderful roads in that area.

As part of the heritage “proof” story we would love to show the following cars:

• Lotus Omega
• Lotus Elite (Type 83 Series 2 ideally a Riviera Edition) or an earlier Type 75
• Lotus Elan +2 (ideally a +2 S130 or +2 S130/5)

Do you within your club have owners in the area of Munich or indeed further afield who would be willing to loan us their cars? The cars will not be driven – only static, kept inside in the dry, and only brought outside for media to look at for 2 hours per day. We would be looking at the best / concours versions of each and colour doesn’t matter, the quality of the car is the most important thing.

The dates of the event are 17 to 28 June with a preparations a few days before and the location will be secure too and we will arrange insurance and covered transport for these vehicles from the owners to Munich and back.
