Silverstone F1 - accidentally bought 4 extra tickets to “ the view “ stand

Surely when it came up with the price of £2199 the alarm bells started ringing? 🤔

Here’s how - £2199 is what you pay for 4 tickets at the stand 

I used PayPal - and it said insufficient funds.  So I transferred money onto the credit card and then started again as Silverstone has a maximum time you can be checking out - but used credit card as I then had it with me and it was easier   

Paid £2199 on credit card and then 10 minutes later it appears PayPal tried again and as I had enough in there this time it went through.  
 

Was surprised when I found 8 tickets in my Silverstone App.   That’s how you get 4 extra unwanted tickets - bloody pay pal

Oh dear, sorry to hear about that.

Is it possible to contact either PayPal or your credit card company and explain the situation? Worth a try?

Also, might be worth advertising on FB or similar?
