Wanted: Lotus Esprit HC/HCI

Hello folks!

After nearly one year, it turns out, that my prefered deal about a 87 Esprit HCI might not happen due to persisting problems with the engine.

So now I am widening my search into the worlwide market.

Preferably European / US-Market, but I don't want to exclude anything, it depends on the modalities 😉

 

I am looking for a Turbo Esprit HC/HCI.

Requirements: LHD, no salvage title, no "fancy tuning"

Traceable history preferred

Intriguing!  Looks US spec with those side repeaters (or was that a Europe thing too?).  And I thought all Esprits had colour coded bumpers after about 83/4 and the HC didn't arrive until late '86.  So is it an HC/HCI with mods or is it an earlier TE?  Whatever, great looking car!

It is an 87 US HCI! Should be original except the bumpers
