Really, well that must be new.

I'm sure it used to be all night !!

If ever anyone gets caught short on fuel and in a muddle in my vicinity give me a shout.

I usually have some Optimax in a jerry can left over from a sprint or trackday, enough to get you to a pump.

By the way, Happy Christmas to the Timeshare Twins .. you weren't there for our communal greeting.

(Though I might see you at the meal on 20th ?)

Keep off the straight and narrow

Yeah i'm a croud pleaser! Glad James and Steve made it home ok! I must admit i was terrified that my car was going to breakdown on the big one (distance wise) last meet!

I am also glad that Andy made it home as he was supposed to be following me and i was behind of all people OWEN and we managed to lose him (maybe a new crown for Capt. Slow!! :))

Left Owen at the Thickthorn and proceeded into Norwich on the Newmarket Road and just by the Eagle pub the Police were doing a road block (non shall pass type affair), three cars there with no lights on (one can only assume caught and nicked for drink driving) i thought i was going to get tested too but the policeman just said "I haven't got my speed gun, but it doesn't take a genius to work out that you were going faster than 30, I know you car is capable of doing great speed but the roads are greasy so just keep the speed down in town. Nice car by the way" and waved me on PHEW!

Good to see you all and look forward to seeing some of you at the curry night!

Best wishes

SiF

Hi,

Yes great evening had by all, I'm going to organise a work meal there for sure. Sorry about your car Steve and James, but at least it's an easy job to do, just a shame if it was gonna happen that it wasn't on the home stretch of the journey.

Yes Simon, you do like to show off your flames, you produced some as you passed me (which I predicted was going to happen! :) Simons accelerator = on/off) on the A11! As for the Thickthorn roundabout Simon, are you going for a record of 100mph between each set of lights? And I did see you speed off into the city, you were lucky this time then regarding the fuzz. :D

And if I recall Simon you said you would follow me back, so not exactly stuck behind me through choice. You only do it so you can come past like a bat out of hell at the first opportunity! How were the speed bumps? Wymondham is terrible now, all one way and hideous speed bumps, been a while since I've been there.

Nightmare, aren't they!

You prob lost Andy in his Excel due to acceleration issues. His diesel doesn't accelerate that quickly!! :D

Must be new thing with the Attleborough station. Used to be all night!

To be honest i was hanging back to avoid dazzling people via their mirrors, as it had been mentioned my lights might be a bit too high, then I decided it was easier to hang back far enough so i could use high beam. I could see the lights of the 2 Esprits in the distance ahead.

So Kimbers, as you say it's a diesel, maybe you now agree I should put a 910 in it.
