power steering belt

hello everyone. a bit of power steering screeching (sounds like the belt) i have checked the fluid (and topped up with dextron 2), just wondering if its possible to get too and tighten the belt (if required) without lifting it up, not had a good chance to look at it yet just wondering if anyone else had tried.

You'll need to do it from below, but I've replaced the pump in my friend's driveway. It can be a pig of a job, but it is doable.

thanks sani i managed to do it today.

well it is possible to do it with no lift. or axle stands (using the kerb to put the car on one side, but i have a bit too much of a manley frame to manage it) so had to do it with trolley jack and x2 axle stands (use chocks at the front, and be careful not to nose it out) took longer to jack it up and get the axle stands in than to tighten it.
