Key blanks for a 1990 SE?

ok i just went to the hardware store to see if they could cut some spare keys for my esprit and they just looked at me like i was from another planet. the closest thing they could find was a key blank for a daewoo but it didnt fit.

any ideas on where ot get a couple original blanks for a 90 SE?? the second glovebox door key would be cool too..

Check the Stevens Technical forum...i provided an interchange some time back....it was a Silca keyblank.

I went to the locksmith shop and they had keys that work just fine Saint Louis, Missouri

Hi Jamie,

I went to a locksmith and he was able to make me a door key and an ignition key

Ignition Key blank is an ILCO X211 TR44

Door Key blank is an ILCO 62FG

The door key blank was more difficult to find than the ignition key.

i m using these, looks good and working fine:

- for ignition key can be used Italian Silca RT2P

- for door locks Italian Cerrebi BA4R

Go to ACE Hardware in the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area and ask for a late 80's Toyota key for the ignition.

They also have the door keys. Hance in Hopkins is where I had 1990 Esprit keys cut.
