a very big thank you to Paul for sorting the parking, made the day, lot better than last year.

Great to see all of you again and meet some new esprit friends

Yup - I'll second that! Good bit of organizing.

My wife even enjoyed it and she kind of resents the Esprit since I spend too much time in the garage for her liking!

Hope not!

That stuff was like gold dust on saturday and i had to send Club Lotus

people to beg a roll from the venue. Silly really as i work with the stuff

and could have got any amount had i thought about it...

Will bring some of me own next year, only put that stuff in the car as it

looked kinda bad binning it after i made so much fuss about wanting some.

Cheers for the thanks Guys/Gals :D

Alan Morgan (Club Lotus) deserves big thanks too. It was he that let me

have such a decent amount of space, and the security guy "are you esprit?"

was laid on by Alan to stop people ignoring the signs and parking 'lesser'

lotus cars there before we arrived.

Next year i will send an alarm clock to our leader man Bibs, as he managed

to get there when just about everyone had gone home. he does exist, honest!

:P

Good job Paul, it was a lot better than last year, I even enjoyed myself this year, unlike previous years. We need to make this a regular thing parking undercover!

I managed to bag myself a huge bargain, litterally it was a tailgate. Lucky I had PNM to kindly take it home for me!

Go Paul... We love you Paul... You're our hero for ever!!! <_<

:D

Cheers mate - it was a great day and good to see you and Vicki :P (but no one else! :D:P )

Dave - Cheers for the Indicator advice - yes I did get them in the end - Tenner for the pair! If my silver 'bits' inside have gone rusty (which I suspect they have as they looked like goldfish bowls when I bought it) then I shall replace those while doing the world's first "lucas" clear indicator mod! :) (at

Looks like a good one - sad I missed it.

Parking looks as if it worked a treat, tbh last year put me off going again but if it's like that next year I'll give it a go.

Thanks also to fishy for doing some spying for me - appreciate it B)

It would appear that Stoneleigh is my job now innit!

CL were very impressed with us lot, and the same next

year is not only on the cards, but is what they actually

want!

The only things i would change (that would have been easy) are:

1, I should have posted a meet up time there (EG midday at my car),

this would have let people put names to faces and meet everyone. We

do this at donnington every year and i'm gutted i neglected to do so here!

2, I secured our area so it was not opened until we left the porridge pot.

The security was ACE, but next year i'll make sure they open and let Esprits

enter before we arrive, there were twenty esprits in general parking that

could have been with us, we had the room after all.

:)

I know I'm a bit slow on this one (must be the difference in time zone  ), but let me also add my thanks to Paul for the organisation.

Who knows, maybe next year I'll bring the Esprit.... it's only a 12 hour drive
