I think the build plaques were for the first cars built by Motorsport and not general products 2Elevens. I'm sure we tried to get one before for someone and drew a blank?

FWIW, that was the case here in the States ... only the first batch of cars (~ 24) delivered back in 2008 came with a build plate. Subsequent model year 2-Elevens did not have a build plate and the factory would not supply one for those cars.

I think you may have the last one.

I'm running Jim Valentine's 2-bular muffler and headers ... muffler is the 6x18" version and is pretty loud.

This was done to THREE of them that one man owned in Oregon. It was a pro conversion by a shop in Tigard Oregon that normally does mostly Porsche stuff. Not sure how he did it but you'd never know these were not this way from the factory.

There were 358 in total, according to Lotus. The last one was built in December 2011 and registered in January 2012. Apparently the guys in the factory sometimes record the fact for last of a model somewhere on the car.

Whilst checking the brake fluid after a recent service I peered in through the nostril and something on the bulkhead caught my eye:

I knew the wheels had been signed by a couple of guys under the tyre, but there looks to be half the factory signed onto the bulkhead!

I guess because it's the last one, and because the car was given by Lotus to Tony Shute.
