Hi all.

Haven't been on much in the last few days but....

On thursday morning at 9:29 am Carolyn and I had a baby boy. :)

Jake Aaron Croft

Weighed 7lbs

Mum and baby are doing well but he is a fortnight early.

Haven't had chance to test the baby seat in the esprit yet but am confident it will fit.

Cheers

congrats :) I recall a thread on baby seats for lotuses.

I don't remember when any of my hypothetical children were born, but from what they tell me there's a town in Mexico they call "Slade" where everyone looks like me, except they wear a sombrero. I must be like a god to them. A big incestuous party, I ought to visit.

Growing up my dad had a Porsche 356B, A 59 Elcamino (white with red flames... my mom made him repaint it because she thought it looked too mexican), an MGB, and a series of 240, 260, and 280Zs (the car's that I first recall lusting after... going for drives in the desert to get a Slurpee at 7-11 when I was 4 or so). Other than that, my parents owned every crappy 70s ford excluding the pinto.

Driving an Esprit would not have made my dad cool.

Anyways, congratulations :)

When I was born my dad bought a Tempo for my mom.

That's almost as bad as having to sell a Skyline

As for naming the kid Esprit, I've got half a mind to name my kid Elise  do you pity her yet?

Here's the carseat.

hi all,

Thanks for the nice words.

My work colleagues have been joking I would call him Lotus!!

Carolyn and Jake are doing ok and I am hoping they might be able to come home tomorrow.

I've seen the baby seat on the centre tunnel at supercar sunday, Carolyn's not convinced.

The only way round it might be to buy her an esprit of her own then he has a choice of seats!!!

Cheers
