According the the workshop manual for turbo and SE, torque for the head bolts is as follows:

Each end pair: 95 Nm

3 middle pairs 100 Nm

Tightening sequence is clockwise working from the center pair towards the outside.

8---6--1--3--9

10--4--2--5--7

Hi again,

forgot about the head bolts,

again from the service notes of the S4, S4s and sport 300,

Tighten nuts progressively in a diagonal sequence working outwards from the centre, in five stages.

i) 20Nm,

ii) + 75 angular degrees,

ii) + 40 angular degrees,

iv) wait 5 minutes,

v) + 20 angular degrees

Tightening sequence

8 6 1 3 9

Front-->

10 4 2 5 7

x's represent the head nuts.

cheers

Dave
