Esprit S4s - sender/sensor for T° gauge

Hi all,

I've received my new T° gauge sender unit (A082N4040F), but where does it fit? The parts manual does not show it anywhere, it just lists it along the gauge in section 17.07A. Any clue?

The coolant temp sensor for the gauge in the dash is in the thermostat housing. Near the timing belt.

The only wire going to a bolt thing on the thermostat housing. You can't see if from the LHS but you can reach it, you can see it fromt he RHS but not reach it....
