How is possible to read ABS error codes without TECH 1?

As written on previous post I am having a problem with ABS DELCO Moraine IIIA (accumulator gets empty) and error tail tale goes on.

But.... how can I read the error code? I tryied to find posts about that without results.

Jumper on ALDL connector in engine bay (for ECU error codes) gives also ABS error codes? (counting the yellow CHEC KENGINE tale flashes?)

Or the THEC 1 tool is absolutely needed?

Sorry... maybe a silly question from a "non expert at all" but I need help. I don't want to drive 100km to the first mechanic shop available in the area.
