No probs. They all have that warning.
Removal of the sun visors is nice and easy for you and they're not that effective anyway if we're honest!

  2. Bibs's post in Silver wheels, search for colour code was marked as the answer
Lotus do indeed receive the wheels already painted and the suppliers have been secretative about this for years, it's a real pain.
Take it to a wheel refurb company, you'll be surprised how close they can get a match and they won't need to mix up a huge pot.

Quite a few topics about DAB aerials. £500 sounds a bit strong - I seem to remember a DAB splitter to the aerial already stuck up behind the A-pillar works ok.
  4. Bibs's post in Do you use shower caps and hardtops? was marked as the answer
I had that shower cap from H111, very much the best one and useful to cover the car, raining or not and even with the soft/hardtop on just for an extra layer of protection

As you can use a roof bow in it, it doesn't suffer from turning into a pond as much as others and has a nice padded bar which goes under the wiper blade to help keep it tight.

  8. Bibs's post in Exige sport 350 battery died was marked as the answer
Should also apply to the Exige - Open the front access panel and get some charge in the battery. That said, is the Liteblox a LiOn battery in which case there may be a low voltage cutoff which disconnects it? That may be trickier but at least if they've got access to the front of the car, there are some options.
  9. Bibs's post in Evora 400 Wiring Diagrams. Help please! 5 months of trouble. was marked as the answer
For a small fee it looks like you can download them from Lotus...

You'll only need 1 hour access which I think is pretty cheap and you can download as much as you can find in that time!

  16. Bibs's post in TPMS and Alloy Wheel Refurbishment was marked as the answer
They're removable and are identifiable by different valves so everyone knows to be careful when removing the tyre. That said, if they've been on the car a while there's a chance they'll be seized on (VOE) so best order new ones.

There's not really a position for the stalk, it's click on, click off and returns to the same position each time.

  22. Bibs's post in boot doesn't open with boot release button on dash was marked as the answer
    MY BUTTON WORKS!!

Make sure your handbrake is on!

If I'm in the car and someone needs access to the boot I'll not often pull the handbrake up first which is why it's never worked! Just been and tried it, handbrake on and boot opens fine!

The logic makes sense too, you'd not want the boot to open if you were moving!
  23. Bibs's post in Michelin PS4S being fitted today - Questions... was marked as the answer
Most cars have TPMS nowadays, the garage should be fine as long as you tell them they are there.
The red dot is the highest part of the tyre, it should be on the lowest spot of the wheel (they sometimes have a tiny dimple in the rim to show this so less balance weights are needed but again the tyre place should know this, it's what they do after all!
If there's a yellow dot, that's the heaviest part of the tyre and should be mounted opposite the valve.

A132S0081F - Lotus currently have 9 in stock.
You're looking at pipes coming in off the intakes on the side of the car with that previous diagram.
