power steering rack source

Evenin all.... on my quest for power steering pipes.. I was under the impression that the rack was Saab based..however this evening Ive had an email from western power steering stating that the rack is based on a ford sierra....spanner in the works? Any thoughts chaps?

Its a Saab rack although for the RHD Lotus used a LHD rack (and visa versa). The Non power rack was Ford based.

I can get power racks re built, if you have any rack issues, for around £150 + P&P. (non power around £40 + P&P)

Well, the rack is fine... Im trying to source a new high pressure feed metal pipe, the one that runs under the car, and a new return pipe, the short one that goes from the rack, up and over the coolant hoses and onto a flexi hose...
