LOG 31 in Las Vegas

LOG 31 is in Las Vegas this October (http://www.loglasvegas.com/index.html) with special guest Roger Becker. The OC folks will be driving out and anyone is welcome to join us for the drive (I'll post more info on the route etc up closer to the date). While there, I'm planning on a TLF get together, so please let me know if any TLF members are going so I can get an idea of numbers.

This is the premier US Lotus event of the year and I hope to meet some of you there, and for our European based members, Virgin and BA have direct flights from London ;)

Paddle Faster, I hear Banjos!

For the Lotus owners who've not attended a Lotus Owners Gathering or visited las Vegas. Two years ago over 100 Loti of all types and vintages were in attendance at the Red Rock Casino and Hotel during the West Coast Lotus Meet. The food was great. The vistas astonishing. The track day at Spring Mountain was awesome. Some over agressive driving at the go-cart event but, this was to be expected! We are Lotus drivers after all. All in all, a great weekend was had by all. Las Vegas during October has perfect weather. Whether you choose to show your car, spend a day at the track , join us in a tour of the best scenery the Southwestern United States has to offer or just visit "The Strip", there will be something for everyone. See you there!

Wife unit and I will be in attendence in the Elise. The Esprit is just not up to the task of a cross country excursion at the present.

Would love to do the track day but the logistics of getting the 2-11 there and back make it not do-able.

Hope to see some old friends and meet some new.

See ya there,

Al B.

Houston.

Al,

Look forward to meeting you at LOG XXXI. Should be working registration. Not bringing my Esprit either. Don't think it will make it that far! Looking to buy an early Ninties SE to use while I'm in Vegas. There roughly eighty days a year. If not, I'll be driving an Asian re-branded "Lotus" courtesy of Hertz!

I'm going to drop by on Saturday, believe that's concourse day, to say hi and have a look at the cars but can't make it for the whole weekend. My Dad is flying in for a visit from the UK so he'll be with me.

Gavin,

Between now and October, we must find a way to meet in Vegas. Not sure what I'll be doing Saturday. Should be working registration Friday. Might be leading a "Tour" to one of Vegas' natural wonders. Moxie mentioned trying to get you to one of our "Wedgehead" events here on the East Coast. Somehow it will happen. Looking forward to it!

Well that was a snore, where else can a 62 yr. old guy feel like the kid while a old geezer talks about the past... Seriously I will never go to a Lotus event to hear about the past when it's the future I look forward to.... It was like watching paint dry in the rain..

Try drivin a 680 whp Exige from LA to Vegas and back with some cool high speed [120-175mph] open desert runs here and there....

Fountain of youth time..

This guy is wondering how many bites it would take to eat my car....

I did find drool marks on the door and windshield...... I hope it was drool..

To be totaly honest I didn't since I don't live in the past and never bought a Lotus due to it's F1 past.

It would have been nice to have someone talk of the future Lotus not the past...

It was odd to be the focus of so many questions, its a shame I wasn't selling anything I would have made a killing...
