I can't believe that much cosmetic damage would result in a write off!

It looks like the panels of the car itself were untouched (why? - See Troy's post?!)

Needs the Bonnet fixed, new wing mirrors, tidy the interior, steering wheel, filler flap, windscreen wiper and all glass.

Not exactly cheap but nor is it cat-c worthy either!

...or am I seriously missing something?!

By the time you add parts and labour it would exceed the repair cost percentage to vehicle cost.

All the glass as per book price must exceed

[i must admit if I could afford it I would set up a workshop tomorow. The prices and times quoted by some Lotus workshops is redicules. Plus I would realy enjoy my job at last.

There are far easier and more certain ways of making sure it's written off than that. A cut fuel line and a match for example. It looks just like the sort of damage some jealous little cretin would cause. Or maybe the owner upset someone a little bit.

HAhaha :)

Looked at that car, very strange none of the panels are damaged.

But has been said the damage is quite a bit, tyres as well....though it might look like a fancy track car but 1 Esprit is more than enough atm

Easy fix but I wouldn't mind betting theres more wrong with it than the visials you're attracted to !

I think this is most likely perhaps. A mate of mine shopped someone

in his road who was a habitual drink driver, and within hours every window

and light cluster on my mates car was smashed. Trust the police to take

your information 'in confidence' at your peril!

Yeah these wise crack remarks are totally un-professional.

I'd never buy a car from someone like that unless I knew I was getting a total rip off bargain.

He's got an Elise there as well I was looking at.

Some/most poeple simply have no class, would be ideal track car though I'd offer him
