Pete, I hope yours was fixed at the roadside successfully or failing that, transported to somewhere ready for that alternator to be made so it can be secured correctly.

AA came out, couldn't fix on the spot but transported car to secure overnight storage, then to GST this morning. Problem was a missing spacer and belt teeth subsequently chewed. New belt ordered and am hoping to run Pete up there tomorrow pm to collect it.
