I'm pretty sure this one had the "extended range" power cord, but was unable to locate it. Anyone know if it "drags along" behind or does it "reel out" as necessary?

Neither, it extends up from the cunningly disguised "petrol flap" to make the car look like a superannuated bumper car on heat.

BTW it came over quite well on Top Gear last night but Clarkson could not stop himself with the smutty pun around the name
