Chargecooler Hose Diameter?

Hello,

Would anyone know the hose diameter needed to add a Blow Off Valve to an Esprit S4?This is the rubber T- pipe that would fit between the chargecooler and pipe.I've been told that the non chargecooled car is 55mm but I'm not sure if there is a difference with the S4.

You may find only a custom one fits as the hose is elliptical rather than round, I cannot recall if mine was originally round or not.

I measured mine at 2.5" I.D. x2.8" Long, so the I.D. is about 63.5mm, though I had to squish it round to measure that.

The 89 and earlier non-intercooled pipe is a smaller diameter, well and it is just the hose section at the turbo outlet.

It is ecliptical yes, but my bov wad supplied with the correct tpiece hose,which was round. It still fitted perfectly as it will bend to suit the pipe shape either side of it..

Yes, round T piece fits and, if you take it off, the hose Lotus use is round!

Can't rememer the ID but it was easy to find one that fits.
