It's The Goodwood Revival this Friday to Sunday and it's pretty much a sell out as usual, there are just some Friday tickets left! Epic event with some excellent and exciting racing too, are you going?

Not going this year, but will be attending a beer sampling exercise in a hostelry on a nearby beach just a few miles from the circuit Friday evening.

Some of my mates are going to the revival over the weekend,so seemed like a good excuse to meet up.

Must admit to not bothering this year although I do get given a ticket through a host of the event. After the Classic Lemans I decided that on the whole the Revival is a posers event with a few nice cars racing for such a short period. the Classic just eclipses this event and you get three days at Lemans for the price of a basic ticket. Just my opinion I hasten to add.

As I said above could not go this year but did mange make a very enjoyable evening at the Seaview Hotel which is next to the beach (see photos) in East Preston. Excellent food ,recommend it, followed by a full English the next morning at the Harbour Lights Restaurant which is on the river Littlehampton.

It was my first time at the revival this year and all I can say is AWESOME! so much thought and effort put in by Lord March & Goodwood so that you get totally immersed in the nostalgia of the era - Better than FOS and I think my favourite event of the year.

Oh and after being a massive Jean Alesi fan for over 20 years I managed to get his autograph

If you've never done the revival put it on your todo list - you'll love it.
