been to get y aircon serviced as it was duff, i could nottake the warm air any more. popped the Chris Neils lotus service center. £50 for a drain, fluxh and refill. below is a picture ofthe refill location points under the engine

there was also a V8 esprit, an Elan and two Elises being worked on too

Under tray needs to come off i believe... at least it was when they tried to do mine.

My condenser is knackered though so i have to live with warm air :(

Just sorted out mine too. There was a blockage in the Expansion Valve so had to replace that, which cost £19 from eBay and not the £65 + VAT from a Lotus specialist. Part is made by Four Seasons, part #38604, eBay auction. Also replaced the receiver drier with a Four seasons part #33403

 

Gordon have you looked at sourcing a new condenser? I know the Lotus part is a lot but SJ's have them listed @ £115 each (part #SJ082P0005) and found this with a quick Google search. Assuming you would only need to replace one and not both? Of course the changing them over is a pain of a job but good time to check out the engine and chargecooler radiator's ;)

I'm just fixing my condenser, there was a slight split on the tube coming out of it, I have cut the pipe and soldered pipe fixings on just got to put the condenser back in
