Anybody in here like folk/acoustic music?

As for my own acoustic folk adventures....I was brought up listening to a scratchy Woody Guthrie record and learnt guitar as a teenager...much later,  I was in a comedy band (called ERM-hahaha) on guitar and stylophone,  played Glastonbury 1993

...then in a folk band that played too few gigs to mention, but including the Rochester Sweeps Festival 1995 where everyone blacks up and wears antlers on their head (that`s British Folk).  

As for my all-time folk faves, Bela Fleck`s bluegrass-type banjo really good, but among Brit folkies only Steeleye Span do it for me, fantastic band with real musicianship, soul and integrity, Maddie Prior is the only rock star who sells their CDs in person and makes coffee for her fans,  seen them 9 times now.

I'm actually tagged as "antifolk" on that site...but if you say you're antifolk people look at you like "Huh? That's a thing?!" Thanks for the laugh.
