Just bought new tyres for my is300, must be good as designed by Giugiaro!  Tread pattern is great.

Can anyone post a pic of them please as I still cant do it!

Thanks mate, Now that's what I'm talking about..how cool are they! Have "Giugiaro" written on side of tyres as well. Shame cant get them for the Esprit

The blue lines actually go on the outside of wheel, so tread pattern is not equal both sides .

What happens to the water in the centre grooves? Is there somewhere for it to go?

 

I had a kinda similar tyre in the Yoko Parada 2 on my Esprit for a while, they were very nice!

The water is gathered inside the tyre where it is passed through a matrix of special filters, then the vapour (or vapor if from U.S) is pumped at force through a ducting heat exchanger module where is turns into fuel, then it is injected into the petrol tank.

I've used a set of these before (Vred Wintrac Extreme). Just awesome and again designed by Giugiaro.

Yeah, the grip on these tyres is amazing, even in the wet the car still feels like its stuck to the road, which in a rear wheel 3ltr auto is not an easy job!

I've been using Ultrac Sessantas on my daily Leon Cupra for nearly 5 years now - they are utterly fantastic performing tyres and don't break the bank either

How are your tyres wearing, i'm thinking that because of the road grip they must be a soft rubber?

They wear pretty quickly to be honest but I'm not exactly gentle with mine.

I'm happy with that with the performance they give and the reasonable replacement costs.
