I got a 145+mph estimated speed by the CHP many years ago..... His clocking method was time distance=speed trying to catch me...

 

Total BS, when I saw his lights in the distant rear I was traveling 65 mph... I had knocked off 100mph due to traffic ahead.

I am pretty sure you guys are talking mph so in Australia, any one of those above would be a big fine plus 6 to 12 month licence suspension plus car impounded for anything from 1 month to 3 months and another $1000 to get the car back.
