Size of Decals for Esprit 88my

Hi all, I'm getting the decals done in vinyl instead of the OEM plastic, as I don’t have the originals I don’t know the height of the letters, need for both side and rear. can someone help ?  I have a 88my

You mean just like all the logos that are reproduced on keyrings, hubcap stickers and loads of other stuff on eBay ? It probably is an infringement of something, but may depend on whether Lotus hold a trademark or copyright on the specific font or word.

 

Then what about all the remanufactured parts that have been made that Lotus can no longer supply - are they copyrighted too ?

 

Decals being one of those 'no longer available' parts I mean ..

the height of the silver letters is 17 mm, including the black surround 20 mm.

Regards trademarks there was a huge law case with BMW and aftermarket wheels bearing the BMW logo, BMW won....... and I understand if affects patten parts and more.
