Electrical problems

I put the key into the ignition switch, buzzer won't stop buzzing.

 

Any ideas?

The buzzer (on USA cars, anyway) is activated by one of the two switches on the driver's A-pillar. Push them in manually to see which one. (The other turns on the interior lights)

 

Occasionally the little plastic actuators on the door card come adrift, and will no longer actuate the switch. So, the buzzer stays on.

 

 

My buzzer has been disconnected for 23 years and that's all I can remember.  Silence is golden.
