2016 is open for business! That actually happened and I even showed up this time, in some style I might add. 

I was rewarded with a lovely drive back up the hill from Lymington, the Turbo feeling distinctly rapid gulping in the cold February air. Must have felt outrageous in 1981.

The pop-up headlights are really good on full beam too. 

Terrific excuse to get the car out. You don't have to go far in an Esprit for it to feel like a memorably event.

Thanks for the pint Dave, hope you had a good run home!

I'd like to add that we spent much of the night sitting outside reminiscing about convertibles.

That's how we roll in Hants!

That drive back though. Love driving the car at night with the headlights up, its like having a gunsight to help you aim the nose more accurately.

Had one of those man-and-machine Sonny Crockett moments.

I'm all about the Drift Inn for March.

If the Jeep is that much of an embarrassment I could come to Chez Dave for 8.30 so we can travel together in the mighty Evora or will you be on your way back from Basingstoke?
