Firing order - Stevens carb turbo

As part of rebuilding my carbs I have dismantled all the plug leads and dissy cap. I know the firing order is 1,3,4,2 but can anyone tell me if looking at the dissy from the rear of the car the leads go on clockwise ie lead 3 goes to the right (clockwise) of lead 1.

It's in rotational order.  Viewed from the back, the distributor rotates anticlockwise.

Thanks Garry. Thats what the length of the leads would indicate so it was a long shot as to whether I had put the leads in the wrong order.

Didnt find anything obviously wrong with the carbs although the pump diaghragms were a bit slack with could affect fuel progression above tickover.
