Trackday/road insurance exclusions

Recently insured my Exige with Moris and within the exclusions is that the labour rates for any repairs in excess of £65 inc vat is NOT covered. I guess pulling the goal posts in that far takes the piss at today's specialist rates for Lotus or anything for that matter. Were lucky company's like B&C said they would split the difference for this situation so that helps. Even after leaving a message with Moris's main loss adjuster regarding this as it could render the policy potentially worthless he never even bothered to ring me back. (god help if you ever need to claim with them) The second date I had booked with them at the same time I am now able to pay an extra £25 premium to increase this up to £80 inc vat I think is still poor. 

I have since managed to get my fully comp' road insurance including 6 track days (even european) WITHOUT any labour rate exclusions atall for nearly £200 cheaper than CCI. It's even got £750 excess cover which lowers your heavy trackday excess too. Yes yet again this insurer is a very nice chap called Nigel at AIB. Hope this helps someone else looking for insurances.

AIB's Excess cover was sadly excluded for track use after all but I was a little concerned as I've now got the track bug that 6 days may not have been enough. Asked about another block of 5 to be added (meant to be only 5 originally but they offered 6 to compete with other quotes) to 10 track days a year and they increased the premium by an extra £20.
