Stromberg to Weber conversion

Hi all. New to the forum. I have a 1973 Lotus Europa that has been garaged for the last 32 years. I was always annoyed with the Stromberg Carbs and keeping them synchronized. I would like to replace them with a single down draft Weber. Does anyone know where I could obtain an intake manifold to do the job? — Thanks

Hi Tom,

Welcome on the forum!

Your Twincam engine has the intake manifold integrated to the head. Therefore you need a new head to change to Webers.

A new head is quite expensive but i remember some years ago i read about a guy who machined a Weber manifold to a Stromberg head.

Worth googling for!

I think I'll rebuild the Strombergs and see if I have more patience now.

Having a very hard time tracking down a new master cylinder... any ideas?

Found rebuild kits for the calipers and wheel cylinders, but the Master Cylinder is no where to be found...
