UPDATE

Rubber gaskets fitted and so far, no leaks :happydance:except on the bit where I didn't do a very good job of getting the gasket into position before tightening down the covers and filling up with oil but that's my fault, not the gasket's so ~I would happily recommend the rubber versions if you are having leakage issues.

That's a result Pete :) What did you torque the bolts down to? I still haven't fitted mine!

Think it was about 5Nm. What ever the equivalent of what the book says in ft/lb but my smallest torque wrench doesn't do old money.

I purchased these:

Reusable Rubber Gaskets

I seemed important to clean up the threads on the cam cover bolts and to torque them specifically. Has worked well but not quite perfect yet.
