Drivers mirror

Recommended Posts

The driver side mirror on my car is a bit loose, you can move it around with your hand. Not much but its not right. It works fine and stays in position just not right. I can rotate the entire mirror back into a "stored" position and back out to an "operating position" and it is attached, just a bit limp. How do I get into the mirror to check the fastener that holds the mirror to the door mounted pivot. I am certain its loose there or broken.

Oh, by the way........Just took delivery of my 2002 Esprit and had a super 140 mile drive home, I'm really going to enjoy this machine! Thanks for any help..........

You might want to look here as this site sells all the pieces individually. The mirrors are originally from a Citroen CX (and are crap just like that car ).

Lotus only sells complete assemblys, so if an individual part is broken this place may be the best way to go. It will also give you an idea by looking at all the individual pieces how it goes together.

Good luck
