How many left? (Estimates)

Was reading up on an S1 the other day and they estimated 150 were left which seems very low. Just thought it'd be interesting to hear any thoughts on how many of the S1, s2 and s3 there were. Any ways of finding out? DVLA records seem to be inaccurate.

More like less than 30 ish in the uk would be more representative for the s1

@Barrykearley Quite a lot when you think of it. Any clue on the S2 or 3? I've seen more 1s than 2s not that that is any help.

The last time I checked on www.howmanyleft.co.uk there were only about 5 registered from 1976. No doubt there are a lot sleeping in barns up and down the country.

@Paul ColemanHow strange, I can't see the Series 1 or 2 listed seperately and it only lists 2 Series 3. Hm seems there is not much data on these cars now.

@Aj you need to look simply at registration years - it would seem all sorts of magical mystical descriptions found the way into the v5s over the years !!
