If we add in a couple of summer drives, a BBQ and maybe a classic team lotus tour then surely this will cement relationships and build a community. I think they key to this is no pressure but fun and interest when we meet.

I've not commented thus far since i've never managed to make a meet, save for the one that was cancelled just in time back in the summer.

For some midweek meets can be difficult, particularly in the winter for those who live a fair few miles away, and for others weekend meets are just as difficult, so there is no formula that's going to work for everyone.

Still hoping to make it one day

Maybe being a Monday that's a problem? I vary rarely attend the EALC meetings each month as they are a Monday, with it being first day back at work, usually just get home and want to stay in. The CL meeting on the Thursday ain't too bad a day as you're starting to wind down for the weekend, knowing you only have Friday to go, so don't mind going out.

This may be why I don't attend TLF meetings much, plus I never remember the date.

Fine for me. One or two events would be great. Looking forward to 20th Feb. I will be there even if I come in a non Lotus, unless I am away with work but at the moment that is unlikely.
