Hello from Colchester

Hi Guys,

First time Lotus owner! Just purchased an Exige 350 in Metallic Orange from Aimee at Lotus Silverstone. What an awesome car. Did own a C63 AMG but wasn't as fun as I'd hoped and wasn't turning enough heads. Also cost rather a lot to run and maintain, especially with hard driving. Managed a set of rear tyres in 2000miles! 

My friend James @JayEmm convinced me that Lotus was the way forward, he wasn't wrong!!

The exige certainly has more presence when you see the 2 photos.

Jeez, I live in Boxted and the only modern Lotus' I've seen in the locality are owned by @Gm77 or a chap over the road from me! I've been the only V6 owner in the area for a long time

I'm in great horkesley too!!!!! Evora 400 and an Elise.  There's also a yellow Elise owner around the corner!!!

Boxted is still great horkesley...or the other way round   if you can throw a stone to it then it counts!    nice sprint colours... BTW..   looking forward to seeing that in the flesh

I did - over 20 years ago now!  Its sat waiting to be recommissioned (hence the rather cheeky comment from @gashead1105).  Was amazing fun when it was on the road. 

I may get stoned for saying this but I test drove an S1 Elise when the Midtec was my daily driver and found it a bit tame and not particularly exciting to drive!   Amusingly the steering felt a bit numb too!!! I feel I can say that now, as an Elise owner.

 i actually  prefered my smart roadster to the elise s1 and s2 hence why i purchased an evora instead...
