Yes Permabond A134 is an anaerobic acrylic, a Loctite alternative would be  5188 or 518.  I use 518 often.

 

I don't see a Loctite 583, but I do see a 5883, however that would not work in places like the cam towers on the Esprit, since you need as thin a material as possible, or it will raise the cams and effect the valve clearances!

Loctite 5883 is gap filling, and not useful for the cam tower sealant on the Esprit 910 engine.

Loctite 5188 and 518 do leave a very tiny gap that does not effect the valve clearance.

Hi Travis,

Thanks for the answer. I made a mistake in te above posting, it should have been Loctite 586 (and not 583).

I need something for mounting the cooling water connections on the Turbo (the brass fittings). I guess Loctite 586 will do the job.
