Speccing a 250 Cup

I hope so, I'd like a photo next to the MSG GT430 please. Ideally with Bibs' Evora plus my old V6 Cup in there too.

Strictly B142 paint code allowed though. Other lesser green cars will be politely asked to keep out of the shot!

May I ask you what is the difference between MSG and the regular metallic green I got mine in?

My previous Evora was Racing Green. Motorsport green is a darker, deeper green. I would almost describe Racing Green as green with a yellow tinge, and MSG as green with a red tinge.

It probably won't show very well in pictures (and MSG looks particularly stunning in the flesh), but here goes...

Sadly, not yet! The car is still with the dealer. They were hoping to have it ready for collection tomorrow, but we have had to delay that until the new year as it won't be ready. The delay is in getting the calipers painted as these have to be sent away and they won't be back in time. We've rescheduled for Saturday 6th January now. I'm okay with that, they are doing a few things to it for me and I didn't want it rushed - I've waited 4 months, I can survive (just!) for another couple of weeks

Your monitor is on borrowed time though, because when I do collect it I'll post LOTS of pictures!

My 250 cup is finally arrived.  Sorry for the dirty pic, it will stay dirty until proper detailing and PPF.

Here is the spec:

- metallic black

- air conditioning

- carbon aero pack

- carbon fibre front access panel

- carbon fibre sill covers

- carbon fibre HVAC surronds (these are not fitted yet, my dealer said it will be sent seperately by Lotus. Yep, weird.)

- 2-piece brake discs

- no stereo, no floor mats, no carpet

Looking good! Looking forward to seeing more pics when it's been properly prepared. I'd definitely recommend floor mats to prevent the aluminium floor getting all scratched.

Ohh, I didn't know aluminium floor got scratched that easy    Then I will add it as soon as possible. Thx for the tip

We're almost there! Should be ready for delivery next week Just the Union Jack wing end plate stickers to add and the 'No Step' sticker to be changed to yellow.

does the brake calliper yellow match the yellow on the Lotus Center cap?

I doubt it's a match. Originally the plan was to get them done in the standard 'AP yellow', but the first attempt to get them painted had to be aborted (hence the delay). I'm not too sure whether they are still 'AP Yellow' or just yellow! I don't mind either way, I'm just happy they're yellow

Looks much better with yellow calipers!  Do the "no step" sticker were options? I don't have them.

You certainly should have the No Step stickers. Perhaps yours are missing because you have the carbon aero pack, but it's even more important that the warning stickers are on yours because if a passenger put their foot through one it would be fairly heart breaking! I'd tell your dealer to get a pair ordered if I was you.

Even if I have that, not many people here in Turkey will understand that lol . I think I need to put a sticker somethink like this

Silverstone's Type 25 250 Cup was there when I 'collected' mine on Saturday. It is absolutely stunning.

Mine is winging it's way here as I type - ETA 17:00 - can't wait!

It was delivered at 16:45. It looked suitably mean and moody under the street lights as it emerged from the covered trailer. It's now safely tucked up in my garage.

Like the yellow No Step decals, as Silverstone had them done or did they come from the factory like that? What was your thoughts on the Type 250?
