Now you've sorted that Andy, any chance of restoring the message options in the profile? I'm back to having to manually select to save a copy and track a message. It's not that it's a chore, it's just that I always seem to remember to click them just after I've clicked send.

I know you said it was hard last time, but it should be easier second time round eh? I'm sure you can squeeze it in between laps of the Circuit de Catalunya.

Still not working for me I'm afraid, unless I'm looking in the wrong place that is. In the board settings, the only PM option is to disable it. If I go to post a new message, the tracking and saving options are not selected either.

I'll try logging out once I've caught up on the day's posts to see if that'll fix it.

I'm using the black/gold skin, but I can't switch to the default because the control's disappeared

Things have suddenly gone all blue (I assume that was you Andy), but apart from that, there's no change.

Now things have gone grey and I've got the controls back and they work

None of the skins have the skin chooser though, so I guess I'm stuck with the default for now. I can live with that, but when I'm flipping through 200 firefox tabs, the black/gold made it easy to stand out from the other forums I visit.

On a related note, what happened to the Lotus favicon?

That's the one. It also appears next to your bookmark's menu entry and (in firefox and opera) on the tab and next to the address.

I've now realised I should be able to change the skin, but cannot find the box to select it anywhere on any page I've looked at.

Phil - I don't mind admitting it but that was very hard work.

Go to 'my controls' then 'board settings' and you can now select to save and track (either/or) as your default.
