Another metallic black on black 410 (full spec with ti exhaust).  Ordered from Central Lotus and registered in April 17. Not aware of any other 410s on this side of the Irish Sea. :)

Another Racing Green 410 with the carbon seats (which I am very happy with). Side stripes removed as didn't look right in grey but as per above - could look good in yellow (which is not a standard option)

Tracking the 410s together will be difficult as standard exhaust too noisy.  Got told off at Silverstone as 103db drive by In the wet!

Spotted this one. Works quite well in this colour. Seen some nice pics of it in the snow recently too.

Well, today was the day when I waved goodbye to my NA Evora and picked up a brand new Sport 410. Seems to be quite a common theme these days! I REALLY wrestled with myself over whether I could (or should) buy this car. In the end, highest level man maths was required, serious string theory type stuff. I really thought I couldn’t afford this car but somehow between Alex at Stratton Motor Company and Group Lotus a deal was done and I do not regret it one bit. I do however now have a new found respect for anyone who has committed to purchasing one of the latest generation high ticket Lotus cars. The numbers involved are daunting but 5 minutes behind the wheel and all uncertainties were out the window! Like @C8RKH, I had never even driven a 400 but bought this unseen, I was confident that I would love the Sport 410. I dearly loved my first Evora and moving to an S or even 400 never really appealed. My fully loaded NA was a totally sorted car and a very special place to be. The S didn’t have enough of a performance jump and the extra running costs really put me off. Perhaps a regular 400 at the right price in an ideal spec may have got me thinking but I’ve never been completely sold on the looks. The Sport 410 however with all that carbon, stripped back interior and exclusivity really appealed. The reviews (from most people) painted this to be a very special handling car and from the 450 or so miles I’ve done so far today, I can confirm it is indeed truly special. And that’s without going beyond 4k as she’s still being run in. This thing is PLANTED to the road, the damping superb and turn in scalpel sharp. Also as @C8RKH has said, coming from a 2010 car, everything just feels so ‘tight’ and solid. Lotus has evolved the Evora in to a complete weapon. God only knows what the GT430 must be like! I got some great advice from @The Pits and @jonnyboy via PM before taking the plunge, so thanks guys. Without TLF I wouldn't be in this car.

I drove down from Glasgow with my father last night after work and stayed in a Travelodge around Newark. Didn’t get much sleep before heading off early this morning to Long Stratton. Alex @Stratton Motor Company really went above and beyond during my collection today. He called in a favour with Lotus and at incredibly short notice was able to arrange a factory tour for us with Russell Gibbons. Russell (and Alex) was so kind to take time out of his day to show us round the facility and talk all things Lotus. A true gent.  This really was the icing on the cake for two tired Glaswegians facing an 8 hour drive back home!

So here’s my Sport 410 for the register. Metallic Black with Yellow interior pack, cruise, air con, ICE and sound insulation. Pretty much everything spec’d back in except mud flaps! New car at front, old car behind B-)

Congratulations, I share those sentiments exactly, the only thing that makes sense of it all is the crazy car!

Very special drivers car that. With a Sport 410 the best is definitely saved for the last 1000rpm so there is much yet to enjoy. GT410 must be fabulous also but given the choice I’d go for a deal on a Sport 410 all day long. Still a massive fan of them, it’s the car that got me into an Evora. Weather’s turned up for you now too, enjoy and keep us posted. :thumbup:

Apologies for the late reply.  Yes it was a private event at Castle Combe.  Low numbers of cars made it a bit more flexible on individual noise levels.  Next event is 21 Jun so if anyone is interested pm me and I will see if I can get you an invite.  Usually lots of exotica 675LT, 488, GT3 RS etc so you will end up paying a bit more as these guys do not like to be out on track with lots of cars.  However still enough cars for some banter.
