  1. I’m lucky enough to have the only 4x4 Sport 410 ever made. These are exactly the conditions the Cup 2’s are made for 😂
  2. Just collected the Evora from Craig's this morning after its second year service. Night and day difference between dealing with Craig and Leven. He said judging by the state of the oil and brake fluid it's doubtful they were even changed for its first service. Much happier knowing the car is in his hands now, a CMC stamp is worth far more to me than a Lotus one. Bravo once again Monty!
  3. This is bad luck; https://www.instagram.com/p/B1Wr54IgAFY/?igshid=1p6n4hiztli21
  4. Or jobby brown as @LazyDonkey calls it 😂
  5. Good work. Is that Dave's old car @PunyGod? Used to see it kicking around the south side of Glasgow. It's a head turner!
  6. Have to say I found the Cup 2's incredible at Knockhill. The car just stuck to the track and gave me loads of confidence. Track driving may only be 1% of the miles I do but it would be a shame to lose that extra grip. Like Jonny mentions in his vid, my lefts exhibit some feathering on the edge. These tyres clearly don't last too many miles and regular track work could get very expensive. No doubt the PS4S sounds like the best all rounder and once my new rears are shot I'll give them a go all round. Right Andy, lets get a track day booked!
  7. I think while I've got plenty of life left on the fronts I'll go for Cup 2's on the rear again and perhaps try the PS4S all round next time. They undoubtedly sound like they'll last several times longer than the Cups!
  8. My car is in with Leven right now for its 1st year service and I need a new rear due to a puncture. I'm inclined to go with Cup 2's again to keep it as Lotus intended. Camskill have the rears at £235.80 just now; https://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?show=139036 Can anyone confirm if this is the correct tyre?

Massive congratulations to you again Jimmy. It was great to meet you and great to see this car going to a well deserved home. You'll be turning heads everywhere with that thing!

Good work @blindside congrats! Will you be hanging around for the breakfast meet at Leven’s on Sunday morning? @C8RKH and I will be there with our Sport 410’s.
  11. If you apply for the certificate of provenance you get the certificate AND a letter with more info on your vehicle such as where is was in the production run etc.
  12. It’s mentioned in an accompanying letter from Andy Graham.
  13. Mine’s the last of the metallic black U.K. cars and no mudflaps for strategic weight saving 😆 Car #15 (UK) - Metallic Black, manual, aircon, ICE, sound insulation, cruise control, yellow interior colour pack & yellow stitching.
  14. Car looks amazing Andy, these original 410's are a rare breed. Had mine at Knockhill a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely immense on track. Pic courtesy of @The Lotus Position
  15. No sorry, Ive not tried either. They will definitely be more suitable in the cold though. The Cups do not cold.
  16. I’m with you on the Cup 2’s in this weather. The car squirms all over the place on cold wet roads, it’s a bit like driving on ice. Definitely not a winter tyre!
  17. I got two bottles of the stuff yesterday so will give it a try over this weekend!
  18. @bosshog what did you do to get it to 100%? Reapply or did it just settle over time?
  19. @bosshog did you get your window noises fixed? Both of the windows in my 410 make an absolute racket when closed and I'm sure it's the glass rubbing against the seals. Is Gummi Pflege the stuff to fix it?
  20. I agree the carbon seats suit the 410 incredibly well. I’d feel it’s cheating not to have them! They’re what I’d want when pressing on or for track but limit it greatly as a GT. In an ideal world you’d have two sets and stick the comfy ones in for long journeys. Access to the stowage area behind the seats is a nightmare with the fixed buckets. (I also feel a little cheated having blank buttons where the heated seat controls are 😄)
  21. According to my certificate of provenance 72 were built, 25 of which were for the UK.
  22. Gutted I missed this. Couldn’t really get the time away from work and was having new carpets fitted on the morning of the event. 😕 Only realised it was being live streamed towards the end so tuned in and what did I see on track? My old car!
  23. I’ve just installed my drivers side brackets and tried the middle holes without moving the runner spacers. Big difference! If anything I feel they’re tilted a little too far back so think I’ll try the top holes. Definitely solves the lack of thigh support and make driving long distance far more comfortable. They really are very comfortable seats with a bit of tilt back. The weight of the seat is just ridiculous! I carried mine up to my flat to fit the runners in one hand with a socket set in the other, they weigh nothing!
  24. Doesn’t appear to have reversing sensors or cruise.
