Peoples’ reaction to your Evora

I am a bedrock fan of ApplePay. Problem is that Petrol pumps in the main (UK and EU) do not accept ApplePay, so my way around it is to use Revolut who will give out up to four cards for no fee. So, one in each car and I am sorted.

The Evora is not exactly a common car in SW France, so yes, I get many looks and comments the few times I use it. Like the other day. I needed a fill up and cruised into my local station just at the time when the boy scouts were having a litter clean up that attracted many young wannabee racing drivers supervised by their scout masters producing many oohs and ahs!

Cool as a cucumber, I exited gracefully (something I have now mastered after many rehersals....😀) and inserted my Revolut card into the pump. Refused. OK, keeping cool, I tried again. Refused. With all eyes on me now, tried a third time. Refused. Lowering my shoulders and sucking in my chest, I skulked back into the car for a quiet getaway amidst the embarrassment!

On my arrival home, a mail from Revolut notifying me that someone had tried using one of my cards, but complimenting me on my foresight to use the security measures they afford to block the card after the last use of the card....🤣🤣

I would love to know the comments as I left the station...
