[SWEDEN] UK tour 2019 (incl. Assen)

Planning is ongoing for a tour to UK in July. Still in draft mode but this is the general idea:

19/7 Arrive to Holland

20-21/7 Watch Lotus Cup Europe at Assen (incl some supporter class called DTM)

21/7 Over night ferry from Hoek van Holland to Harwich

22/7 Factory tour for those that haven’t been there yet. Subject to availability since the 2019 dates aren’t available yet

22-25/7 Wales, possibly

25/7 Arrive at hotel near Silverstone

26-27/7 Silverstone Classic

27/7 Over night ferry from Harwich to Hoek van Holland

Three of us have already booked hotels at Assen and Silverstone plus the ferry. If someone of the TLF bunch would like to join please send a PM to me. I’ll update this thread with more details as the plan get more crisp.

Hotel rooms around Assen as well as around Silverstone are becoming fully booked rapidly. Four of us booked now, 2 x Evora and 2 x Elise.

Five cars booked for the tour now, plus one only for Assen and one only for Silverstone Classic. Started to look at BestBikingRoads app for suggestions on where to go in Wales.

Wales is a great place to take a Lotus! Last year I did Brecon Beacons in the south, Snowdonia up north and the Evo triangle. Can't wait to get back!

PS It's queue, not cue. Sound the same but one is a pain in the ass, the other is a stick for hitting snooker balls.
