Anybody any idea where this diode is located on the Eclat? Cheers.

Had to look this one up!

this may be completely wrong but I found this on an MGB forum

"Think it was just above steering column, closer to the "brake" indicator light than to the handbrake. It was wrapped in heat shrink, and had connectors on the ends, rather than being soldered. Can't say if this was done this way at the factory or not, but it made for relatively easy replacement."

If this is wrong I humbly beg your forgiveness

If they’re the diodes that control current flow to the courtesy lights then they’re found just inside either end of the main console near the push switches that are operated by the doors. At least, that’s where mine were!
